ACCOUNT MANAGER
CMOco has an immediate opening for an Account Manager. CMOco is a rapidly growing, award-winning advertising and marketing agency with clients based locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally. The advertising account manager is the link between the client and the entire agency team. This person will be the lead manager and account liaison with our clients and the CMOco team. This person will ensure that all account projects stay on task, meet deadlines, and are delivered with the highest quality and standards that meet our client’s strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Act as primary liaison between client and agency. Conduct meetings with clients as well as keeping them informed about the current work status of their projects
- Work in project management software to monitor client account activity and track project tasks timelines, monitor workflow time tracking and efficiency
- Work with each team member to ensure all client projects are organized, deliverable deadlines are established and me
- Manage, review progress, and deliver the client’s advertisement projects
- Attend client account pitch meetings to understand account scope and make recommendations to senior management on ongoing tasks needed to support account. Also help determine the amount of time account will take to manage
- Establish relationships with new clients, and maintain and nurture business relationships with existing clients
- Identify accounts whose revenue may be shrinking to address any ‘at risk’ customers. Reach out to these accounts to ensure we address any issues, develop support strategies to ensure our client’s success
Skills:
- 3-5 years account project management experience with advertising agency or marketing firm preferred
- Keen understanding of advertising campaigns and all components of multi-layered advertising and marketing such as TV production, radio production, print, digital, social media, email campaigns, PR, trade shows, content marketing, etc.
- Good leadership qualities and ability to work collaboratively and respectfully in a boutique agency environment
- Ability to be a team player, be encouraging and supportive of colleagues
- High level of analytical and organizational skills, and excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative initiative combined with commercial awareness
- Sophisticated professional personal presentation, as this person will be client facing
Location:
This is full-time, on-site position in CMOco’s West Knoxville office. Remote work ONLY as approved and as is necessary.
Benefits:
- 2 weeks paid vacation; 1 week after first 6 months of employment, another week after 12 months. Two weeks annually thereafter
